I’m Laurie Ann Martin, a Sonoma County photographer with a love for the outdoors.  In my leisure time, I am either riding my horses,  soaking up the fresh air on a hike , or gardening in my backyard, growing beautiful flowers for the bees. Thanks for stopping by!

hello + welcome!

A perfect fall day in Irvine California at the University Club Wedgewood Wedding resort. Adam & Jen were sweethearts for 10 years and knew they were eventually going to get married. Adam grew up going to the beach on weekends so they wanted Southern California Beach wedding romantic photos. Since they were married in Irvine we travelled down to Laguna when the sun was starting to set after most festivities were finished and the couple could relax and take in that they were married and just breathe! This always makes for more relaxed type of shots especially when my bride and groom were very shy and really didn’t want to be in the lime light.

Bride and Groom feet in sand

Southern California beach wedding romantics are the most relaxed session you can have with a bride and groom. I think it is the sound of the waves and the smell of the ocean that calms everyone. This picture has an overlay of clouds because they were so billowy that day so I wanted to incorporate some of that into the bride and groom kissing shot!
