Wine Country Wedding

I am a Sonoma County Photographer and I was so happy to photograph this charming wedding in wine country with a bride and her cowboy. Lance & Mayra finally had their chance to tie the knot post pandemic. It was a beautiful fall day in Sonoma Wine Country at a private estate. Finally I was able to photograph my lst big wedding in 2021. I was so excited to be able to see a full celebration with all family and friends present. Even their beautiful half wolf canine attended and was so well behaved!

Since I am a Sonoma County photographer I love these charming weddings in wine country surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills. Mayra was such a beautiful bride. She loved being in front of the camera and she was truly a natural. The ceremony was lined with red rose petals and family and friends all stood along the pathway as they walked down the aisle. Her father walked her down , and he was also their officiant. I love the way bride looked at the groom and he looked at her. These two were so in love. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a bride smile so much.

After the ceremony we went up on a hill at the beautiful Sonoma property under the oak trees. It is always great to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the wedding and give the bride and groom moment to themselves. This always makes for wonderful natural photos. Mayra loved every moment of the photo shoot and her cowboy Lance well he just went along with all of it! He actually said he had a good time too! The reception was fun and I think all the guests were so happy to be at the wedding for this couple and actually be out socialising. Now back to the cowboy part of the wedding because Mayra finally married her cowboy. Of course the cowboys did a speech and when the rest of the speeches were taking place they had a little brawl in the background! I think it was just for fun since they were all laughing and rolling around on the floor! Can’t have a cowboy wedding without a little action. As the night went on it started to rain and everyone was dancing in the rain which had a magical appeal to it too.

The couple ended the night with a dried flower exit. This is my idea of a perfect day as a wedding photographer. Loved this wedding and loved them! This is why I like shooting weddings in wine country.
