These stunning barn wedding photos and capturing love in rustic charm was nothing short of spectacular. This venue was on my top ten list and I have been a wedding photographer for over 25 years with over 600 weddings photographed. The open ranch feel to the venue with the rolling mountains in the background superb. It was a cattle ranch that was in the middle of nowhere but so amazing. I felt like we were right in the middle of a scene from Yellowstone!
Ceremony At Orlopp Ranch
Makenna & Kevin were married at Orlopp Ranch on Saturday September 24th. The day started out relaxed with the girls getting ready at the hotel. Makenna the bride was just as relaxed as they come. We travelled over to the ranch before the wedding and were able to start with guest photos. The venue was amazing with a large white open barn for the reception and the decor was country chic. The ceremony view had a background of cows and rolling hills. The bridesmaids were dressed with cowgirl boots and traditional autumn colored dresses, and the groomsmen had cowboy hats along with their handsome blue suits.

After the ceremony we hightailed it back to the rolling hills and cows for the romantics. The sun was about to set so we had the wonderful orange glow of the sun. I love to use nature as my background for my romantics and the rocky hills were in particular, stunning. The bride and groom even wanted to go right down to the cows, Makenna is a horse person and she wasn’t worried about the dust. Of course I was very careful about not getting anything on her white dress!
The reception was elegantly designed under the pretty white barn with a country chic theme. chandeliers were added for elegance. The bride and groom also had a wonderful sitting area with hay bales and pillows, where guests could kick back, have a glass of wine and great conversation. I’d say this Orlopp Ranch was a perfect location for stunning barn wedding photos.
